Okay, if you played UO, you'd remember how freaking CROWDED the places that allowed housing were. It was ridiculous. Thus, /notsigned.

Yeah, they should devote enormous amounts of time to a feature like housing from the results of a poll where 124 people voted where they would want to live...

/signed really like it

and for those who say "if you want houses, go play the games that allows you to have houses." That is just stupid. This is a suggestion to put it in Guild Wars. If I suggest that I want to fish in GW2, will I get an answer like "If you want to fish, go play a game where you can fish".

OK.. Then I want pink unicorns, battle-meches and sharks with freaking lasers! Oh, and a space shuttle!

Not everything fits in every game. Deal with it.

Irrespective of should it be done I doubt very much if it could be done.

Yes if I could have a house or even a shop in the game I would want it, no questions or doubts in my mind there.

It would have to be in a town or other player area otherwise there isn't any point, I wouldn't want it set up like present guild halls.

Every town and outpost in the game would have to become huge just to accomodate the building of these houses.

If anyone can get round the problems then great I am all for it.

Thumbs down

The Hall of Monuments is a great addition and is as close to anything resembling housing that is needed.

Making housing would be a waste of developers time and game resources so much more exciting things could be done with that time.

If a player really wants to use their imagination and play house anyplace could be suitable to imagine the house is there as well.

Its great people share their ideas but I don't think this one is fitting for Guild Wars.

Well, technically it's entirely possible to implement personal houses without the world turning into a urban sprawl, in an infinitely compressible instanced universe (multiverse?) all you need is one house, just like HoM.

However, what's the point? Do we want an outhouse, too, just so that our intrepid heroes can answer to nature's call when the going gets too exciting?

Who's "we"? You and your imaginary friend, The Frog?
Because, um, I don't want houses in GW 2.
But I want you to not be in GW 2.
And by "I" I mean "we".

We may have multiple personallities, we may not. But, we as a whole, do not want houses. As we are not homeless. Besides all a house would equal is an over abundance of storage space. We, see a problem with that as there are retards who collect crap non stop. then would drop all of it into the economy crash the economy, piss off people who care, even if We dont, and then We would have to listen to them bitch and moan about it on GW2 guru.

houses just would be a waste of guild wars

Don't tell me what I want.

/notsigned on principle

Edit: I've tried building houses in the Sims (both one and two), using the money cheat. I always either got the rooms too big, so they looked empty, or made them to small, so the Sims would get stuck and wet themselves infront of a chair.

I don't want my characters wetting themselves infront of chairs. Also, houses sound expensive, will there be mortgages? Interest? Will I need an in-game job to pay for a house? I don't want that, I'm having real-life money troubles as is, I don't need that reflected in-game.
